Positive Feedback

Empowered Women Empower Women

We’re so happy with the positive impact that EMPOWERMENT HOUSE has had on the lives of women so far. Here are some of our favourite positive feedback:

Alex McCormick

Founder of Alex Louise Nails and SociaGlam

I was lucky enough to attend the Empowerment House pilot in June 2019. If I had to sum it up in 1 word, it would be WOW! One word is not enough. What an incredible opportunity it was to spend a full day with some of the most inspiring women I’ve ever met. It was motivational, I laughed and I was touched by stories from women of all walks of life.

Even though all of the women who attended were all totally different from each other in ages, professions and lifestyles, we all clicked. Marie had us chatting, listening, understanding and as a result of that day, I have made some lifelong friends.

One of the ladies I met that day is now a client of mine and in a few months, I’ll be working with her to share my experiences of being self-employed with the young females that she teaches. I can’t recommend it enough and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for Empowerment House.

Founder of ECBC Manchester

After the Empowerment House programme, I felt so empowered.

My favourite module was comparison and competition. I liked the healthy spin that Marie put on when other women are doing something similar to you. I agree with that. I am always reaching out to work with similar charities to mine in the Manchester areas, we have the same agenda, let’s pool our resources and drive our agenda harder, together. This is an important module. Women need to hear this alternate way of thinking about competition and comparison. We are friends, not competitors.

I would definitely recommend this programme to young females in schools.

Head of Family Law at Broudie Jackson Canter Solicitors

I was invited by Marie to attend at the Empowerment House pilot event on the 1st June 2019. On receiving the invite, I was intrigued and impressed with the agenda but didn’t know what to expect.

I can only describe Marie Hall and the event as truly inspirational. Marie had invited some amazing women. Marie put us all at ease from the beginning and this enabled us to speak freely, share our feelings and experiences. I came away feeling a real sense of empowerment and knowing that I had made some special friends who I now consider part of my support network.

I would highly recommend Empowerment House to all women at any stage in their career.

Meeting Marie was inspirational. Empowerment House is a great driving force and will help you to achieve your ambitions. It will empower you to remove all of the obstacles in your way and enable you to fulfil your ambitions. It will enthuse and give you the confidence to take your first steps, knowing you are supported at every stage. Marie is an inspirational woman and speaks with passion on the subject of supporting and celebrating women to achieve their dreams whatever they may be.

Natasha Ellis

Worker for an over 50s charity

My favourite part of the programme was being in a room with a group of women all supporting and cheering each other on. I was in awe of the strength and courage shown in the room. Watching the way Marie Hall delivers this was inspirational. She is a natural empowerer and manages to get everybody participating.

I don’t think that Empowerment House is for a specific demographic, I think this programme will work for anybody, from anywhere, of any age. This is senior school age stuff right the way up to pensioners. Empowerment House is important, inspirational and empowering.
